In all my years of sewing I had never once thought of that, but my classroom would burst into loud hysterics every time I talked about the buttonhole controls on their sewing machines. Boy, oh boy. If you find yourself with 12-year-old boy humor, take a deep breath and prep yourself, because today we’re learning about buttonholes.
This one is difficult to teach to an audience with all different machines and presser feet. Rather than try to show you one sure way to put in a buttonhole, I’ll divide this lesson into three variations, and you can learn how make a button hole on YOUR machine.
